Americanisms in HPMoR
Post Body

This is a little thing, but I was wondering if any other english readers have noticed that, every now and then, HPMoR characters say or think things that no english person would. I'm not at all bothered about american spelling, but whenever someone talks about something being "stopsign red", calls comed tea "soda", or mentions tootsie pops or whatever, it jerks me right out of the story.

Perhaps I'm just being pedantic.

English readers, is this something you've noticed? Does it bother you?
American readers, would you want to trade accessibility for cultural accuracy?
