They both are reasonably viable, quiet place is getting its third movie this year and silent hill is making a comeback as a franchise with a remake to silent hill 2 later this year.

I personally believe it could be silent hill since TLOU was so popular last year that I think universal wants that piece of the video game pie again and they also have good relations with PlayStation since they worked with them last year(silent hill is a PlayStation original).

Paramount pictures is a quiet place’s distributor and the last time paramount has been in the park was 6 years ago with trick r treat so they have not been in the parks recently. Scream is their most well known horror property and it has not been in the parks for so long.

I even looked at previous years and universal and blumhouse are the usual distributors that have a just released horror movie be a house for the year so even if a quiet place is in for this year it would most likely not be the new movie.

These are just my personal thoughts, as it could still be a quiet place or even neither and we have been looking at the teaser the wrong way.
