Hello growers. I want to start a somewhat stelathy grow in the wooded area of my yard. The builder cleared enough forest to put down the house and septic lines then it becomes trees for as far as can be seen. I'm not entirley sure where my line is, but the lot behind us is 20 acres so I'm not concerned about the neighbors - never seen them or the house that google says exists.

So my question is how many hours of sun does a plant need to "flourish" and how can I measure that througout the day? I'm not too partial to strain (try to avoid those indica dominant that just make me sleepy) or auto vs photo so please let me know what you would do.
