"OMG I hate the Chibis, Destroyah Araike, Desghidorah, Glove Kong, Evolved Godzilla, etc"
I see this come up in thread after thread, post after post. Know what? I get it. I use the Chibis, Ariake, Evo Godzilla and Desghidorah pretty often and guess what? They can be meta and annoying. Ive still lost using those units though and there are plenty of counters. Running into high level ones can be absolutely infuriating and I get it, but the endless whining when playing a game that DEFINITELY has pay to win mechanics is just as exhausting as the "git gud loser" comments.
So, screw it, I have an idea.
Make a King Caesar (1974 KC had reflective abilities) alt or Anguirus alt (Singular Point's whole gimmick) with very high health, does no damage itself, is immune to all status ailments AND it reflects any attempted ailments back onto the aggressor unit but with a 20% boost and reflects 40% of the damage from a unit back to that unit. Yes, this includes Chibi Mecha stun and Chibi-Gs fire and Ariake's damage enhancer. It is also immune to compel. It does NOT block or reflect standard damage with no ailment. The damage MUST be ailment causing. Example, Godzilla 1989 or Biollante would take no reflection damage. Make the bastard 5 cost so that its not too easy to spam, but can be dropped alongside a second unit. It CAN attack air, is slow paced and can only target an individual.
This type of unit satisfies everyone. You can use it to counter the units everyone uses, but need to build to protect it or use it in general. It makes other units more viable to use in conjunction and makes other units useful to actually use rather than the status heavy attacking that goes on currently. Yes, you could counter it easily with Mothra, Leo and others, but thats the point. It would actually shake up decks.
Thoughts?
Ariake is a great piece and very useful. Targeting him can take some effort, but it's not too hard. Honestly I'm WAY more annoyed by Moguera and his buffing goddamn Desi.
Edit: Moguera cannot buff Desghidorah. Forgot as I don't run Moguera much at all.
Ariake has weaknesses. TYD is one, Gigan 04, Moguera's buff is a direct counter and long range counters. Hell, Desi melts Ariake as does Godzilla Ultima. I wait for Ariake then send out Terristris. Currently 4* Hedorah is trash HOWEVER it's healing factor has been a boon against Ariake alongside the toxic damage.
Plenty ways to take out Ariake. Ton of units get slept on.
What I more meant is get him attached to something and force him into that. The go to is chibis and Ariake, but Ariake's speed screws it. Let it come to you or, in many cases, use Gigan 04 and absolutely shit can that dude. There's a ton of methods. We're playing strategy do yeah, it can be who makes the first mistake.
Ariake's counter is just forcing him into 1v1. I've wrecked it with Mechagodzilla 74.
Chibis, sure. The main counters are 6 and 7 cost and it feels unfair. I can get that, but the strategy I've used is to ignore them till they're in a position of weakness.
Desi should be bumped up to 8 cost and made faster or, as you said, have long range removed.
Just look up smash 4 and Bayonetta.
Oh I'm well aware.
Instead of just making an endless loop of units to try and counter old units. Just nerf units that have crazy usage rates like chibis and destroyah. The opposite is done for units with low usage ratings.
We're playing a mobile game that has increasingly gotten more pay to win. Low expectations.

I forgot it's 6 and under. I don't run much Moguera.
Far far from it my man. Been playing since about 6 months after it released.
