So our party of 4 just managed to narrowly beat scenario #81, and I, as Spellweaver, just managed to grab the chest before the scenario ended and got this https://gloomhavendb.com/items/130. I had a few questions:

1. When looting a chest, do you get the item that turn, ready to use? Could I have conceivably equipped the ring and used it that turn? (I assume no, but the ring seems tailor-made for that scenario)
2. Can I choose to give the ring to any of my teammates? It seems deeply useless to my 8HP Spellweaver - a healing potion seems like it would be more usable.
3. Does the item really do nothing unless I can manage to have both light AND dark infused at the same time? Something like Chromatic Explosion could generate both elements, but I would have to use Chromatic Explosion and then wait for the following turn before I could use the elements I generated, assuming no one else has consumed them? That seems extremely precarious. I could use something like Reviving Ether a Mana potion, but I would still have to wait a full turn, and at that point I'm using two small items to restore at best 7HP.
4. It looks like the most reasonable path for this item is for me to sell it - My spellweaver would earn 25g, and then any other player would be able to purchase that ring for themselves at 50g. Is that correct?
   

Am I missing something? This doesn't seem like much of a prize.
