Just got my holster, and I have some problems

I got a Fobus belt holster for my G21 Gen 4 and it is tight!!! I heard that you have to pull hard and fast. But i cant get it to come out when i have it on my waist. The only i can get it out is if the holster is in my hand and pull the Glock and the holsters seperate ways. Are there any tricks on how to loosen them? Or do i just need to break it in?
