SEEMS TO WORK FOR MANY, UPVOTE FOR VISIBILITY <3
So I've crashed ~5 times per game and after I did this it fixed it so I'm guessing it's a fix.
First of all close Steam and stop the Steam Client Service in your task manager.
You'll want to navigate to where your SteamService.exe is (for me it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steam). Go to it's Properties -> Security and edit it's permissions for each user so that it has full permission. Then in the compatibility tab tick Run as Administrator.
Once you've done this start Steam as administrator, look in your task manager and see if Steam Client Service is running, if not (mine wasn't) start it yourself.
After I did this I was able to play a whole match without a crash where before I was crashing multiple times. Give it a go at least, good luck.
EDIT: I'm on Windows 8.1
Things I tried beforehand that didn't work but may contribute:
-Reinstall Steam
-delete .blob files from Steam folder
-uninstall recent windows updates
