Tutorial for creating a floor shadow
Post Body

I have an ambient occlusion texture created in Substance Painter. It was projected onto a flat plane that has a vase sitting on top. Now, I'd like to create a floor shadow with transparency from the AO using GIMP. This is a link to YouTube video that shows how to do something similar using Photoshop. I can't seem to find a tutorial or figure out how to do this in GIMP.
