Hello stranger, first of all thanks for clicking. My name is Krepe and as you can see by my post history I have made a couple of requests for Portal 2 in the past with no luck, at first I thought it was because of the price tag of $14.99 at the moment on Steam but after reading THIS I think that the reason is that I have not stated my love of portals the right way.
Another thing you might see from my post history is that I love eFreebies, why you may ask yourself? And thatās a good question; first of all who doesnāt love free stuff? Am I right ļ the second reason is that I donāt have a credit card so thatās why I canāt buy games or anything digital for that matter, I live in Latin America so steam or any other gift cards are not an option. Now that I got the reason for not been able to buy it out of the way let me tell you about my love of portals.
I first got introduced to portal when steam gave it away back in 2011 (I think) I instantly fell in love with it, my laptop was capable of running it perfectly, so that was a big plus for me, Iām playing in a Dell Studio XPS 1640 so I was surprised that the game ran great on it besides the fact of cooking my left wrist.
What I love about portal? The way it makes you think outside the box to solve the puzzles, the mechanics and physics work on the game I love that you have to be very creative to solve the various tasks you have.
So after that portal 2 was released, having no way of getting the game Iāve got myself a pirated copy of it, (I knowā¦ I know that was bad, but I couldnāt resist myself. Iād say I did it out of love ) so I already played the single player, however as you may know if you played portal 2 the biggest change of the game was the multiplayer co-op, the level editor and the 2 player challenges. I missed out on all that by getting a pirated copy but at least I got to play the campaign, and I got to say I would love you forever If you would give me the opportunity to play the part of the game that I missed that according to what Iāve heard and read it was the best part, All I want is to feel the frustration to tell another human being to do something to complete the puzzle and see them doing it completely wrong, thatās it. This alone would give me hours of enjoinment.
So this is getting a little long so Iāll give you the bullet points of why you should and should not gift me the game:
Reasons to gift me the game:
I love thinking with portals.
I want to be frustrated by people in the co-op.
I canāt get it myself and that kills me (why not buy a physical copy you say? This is a small country so video game stores only carry console games).
Reasons to not gift me the game:(I don't suggest you read this but to be honest there are valid reasons)
The game is too expensive at the moment.
Iāve already played the single player part on a pirated copy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. My steam ID in case you are felling generous and want to make me the happiest man on Aperture.
