We have the funny & weird things thread, but my ancestors were criminals, so they didn't do anything funny or weird at all............ So I was curious to know if you also discovered shocking things about your ancestors?

I discovered that my great uncle brought a lady here from England after WWII and drowned her 2 years later. He was sentenced to the gallows, but won his appeal (on technicalities), but knowing this side of the family, I know he killed her.... Like, I also recently found out that my grand-mother (the sister of the killer) had an affair and that my mom's dad wasn't her real dad. I also found out that one of their sister was married to a famous mob member. Oh and their father was a ch*ld mol*st*r.
