I don't feel passionate about anything anymore
Post Body

Wondering if any fellow gen Xers are feeling the same way? Over the last 10 years (now age 50) I've noticed a steady decline in interest and excitement and enthusiasm for anything that used to be fun. No longer feel the same excitement or anticipation for travel, concerts, possessions, activities, etc. Still love my family and friends and pets so I don't feel like it's depression, it's more like a general meh. I used to love going to beer fests and movies and concerts, but now I like to just stay at home and do my own thing at my own pace and say fuck it whenever I don't want to do anything I don't want to do. Edit: So many great perspectives, personal insights and input from fellow X-er's. It seems COVID was the final nail for many of us.
