So I found this article on the web today. As I was reading, the wording sounded very familiar.
It struck me as very similar to Taylor’s, “I didn’t realize until recently that I could advocate for a community that I’m not a part of.”
The vogue article came out about two years after the Lady Gaga one. So it could be mirroring Lady Gaga’s quietness about her romantic life with women in the public eye, identifying as bisexual, yet still being questioned on it, despite being active in and supportive of the community.
