We have a Dell Precision T1700 desktop computer with the following specs:
- Intel Core i7-4770 processor @ 3.40GHz
- 32GB RAM
- 256GB SSD
- Nvidia QuadroK4000 graphics card
We want to turn this workstation into a gaming PC, but we're on a limited budget. We plan to start by upgrading the case, graphics card and maybe a monitor.
Can anyone recommend a good gaming case and power supply that is compatible with these components? The motherboard is Micro-ATX, and we're looking for something that has good airflow, supports Micro-ATX motherboards, and can fit a full-sized graphics card. My kid likes the Corsair iCUE 220T, but I suspect we could save a bit on the gaming case / power supply combo, but still get good quality, and have a bit more for the graphics card, etc.
As for the graphics card and monitor, we're looking for something that can handle modern games without breaking the bank. We don't need the latest and greatest, just something that can give us a good gaming experience.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
Very good cheap system to play newer games, I'd say try a GTX 1650 with it.
