Hey all. I'm on my 3rd party warranty replacement laptop after my first laptop failed to perform at much higher than 50% of the non-turbo baseline CPU speed while on battery. I'm finding it has a similar (though not quite as pronounced) issue as well.

Plugged in, it works nearly as well a my portable gaming rig (a i7-7700k with Geforce 1070 housed in a Fractal Node 202 small form factor case), but on battery, performance goes to shit.

Does a gaming laptop exist on the market that can run at FULL FUCKING SPEED while on battery power? I don't want thin and light. I want portable performance.
