My size 8 gold Galaxy ring quickly became one of my favorite gadgets. Inaccuracies with steps and heartrates aside, it's just a cool product. It means I can track my health while using my Garmin watch for runs. It looks great. Etc
I was lucky and got mine a few days before release. I've had it for 5 weeks. 3 weeks ago the battery started degrading. It went from lasting a week to 5 days to 2 days...the chat support was absolutely useless. Not on were the three agents I chatted with unable to do anything... the AI didn't even recognize the ring as a product.
Now the ring won't last even a day. I should have known better but finally I called and got ahold of someone after navigating the horrible phone tree. They helped me get a repair request and so I have to ship my broken product back and they're going to fix precisely nothing and ship it back. Probably out on Samsung'a new products after this.
I emailed their special customer retention folks (the office of the CEO) and they actually reached out with a phone call but I'm still stuck mailing my ring back and likely getting the same borked ring back. They said they'd take care of me if I got the ring back and it was still broken. I think that means I'll get a pat on the back and a cordial, "there, there."
Pray you don't need Samsung support but if you do, skip the chat and call ASAP.
