I am not currently in search of a husband, as I have been down that road before with limited success(one should not allow one's best friend to spend more time with one's husband that she herself spends with him). Tldr: Canadian gal looking for a uk guy who might be willing or is curently involved in reenacting/SCA/historic recreation to go to an event or more to with. I'm nerdy(dnd, ex WoW raider, avid reader, binge watcher, history buff), a capable seamstress and cosplay maker, into rp, have a terrible sense of humor(dad jokes and non PC ones), love music(have another post with some first lines of music on my playlist), and want a good excuse to buy a ticket to fly over the pond. The dream is to attend a Regency ball at a historical home with a gentleman and dance at least once. Can make you a full Regency costume if you've not got one in your closet already. Qualities I'm looking for(can be flexible on most if you have other outstanding qualities): UK(love pretty much all the accents), 33-44 age range, 170lbs and up, 5'8" and up, beards are great, long hair is great, tattoos are great, piercings and other body modifications are not super appealing, nerdy/geeky is fantastic(gamer-online/tabletop, comics, movies, TV, books, electronics, computers, larp, viking or other re-creation, etc), interest in history, ability to drive is a big bonus(I'm not sure how well I'd drive on the opposite side of the road), sense of humor, someone not going to be offended easily.
