I just got my wired Hero yesterday and got a little time with it. My progression was
G300s -> new MX518 -> mm710 -> g305 -> g502
I wanted more buttons and functionality, or I'd likely stay with the fantastic g305, which I still have. I play Smite, 7daysToDie, things like Days Gone. Also stuff like Noita and Terraria, for which I might just turn on my g305.
I will see how the weight gain affects my experience but the shape of the g502 is great so far. I might paracord it and maybe shave it to 100g somehow.
My question is: in case of switch issues down the line, can I replace it with the mm710 switches, and would I want to? I think I'm decent enough with the soldering part. Would it be better to just get some kailh 8.0 or 4.0 instead, if it comes to that?
