Newsmax, AON, Fox news is always on our TV. My parents have fallen down the rabbit hole, deep into the Trump cult. They genuinely think we're on the brink of war, and Joe Biden is going to become an authoritarian communist dictator. They genuinely think he is an illegitimate president. And they're scared. And they're angry. But they can't . stop. watching. They are addicted to a drug that is slowly killing them. They won't listen to any varying opinions. Trump is messiah, all democrats are evil wannabe communist dictators ect. ect.

Somehow, I've managed to stay Neutral. I usually just nod my head when my parents talk politics to me, providing no fight back. But I'm starting to lose it. And it's only getting worst.

The thing is, even if I do get the courage to tell them that these news channels are actually biased, that Joe Biden isn't the devil incarnate, even if I articulate these point perfectly, which I think I can, would they listen? I don't think so. I don't know if logic could help them anymore. The cognitive dissonance is strong at this point.
