Yep, different dishes were used in these goofy mech/monster fights. I remember when it was a part of Fox Box before it became 4kidz. It was like Pokémon meets Ultimate Muscle kinda. I watched a clip recently and the tone was super inconsistent, it seemed weirdly serious at times and also weirdly comical at others.

Yeah it was way less obvious as a kid, One Piece felt amazing despite the dubs as a kid.

The lollipop was hilarious looking back, I thought that was what he actually had in his mouth until I read the manga. I think of that rap intro all the time and laugh occasionally. Only thing better about that dub is Gold Roger’s voice.
