I’m just going to say it - I hate being Black and dating. It’s the WORST. Most women I’ve tried to date either ghost me or say I’m “not their type” (before those people jump on this thread, yes, I am fully aware of and respect everyone’s autonomy and decisions while dating. Translation: don’t call me entitled when I believe that no one is entitled to date you). I know that most races/ethnicities are afraid to bring me home to their parents and that I am ugly by societal standards.

I’ve grown to hate myself immensely for something I can’t change because it’s left me lonely. My White friends can date any race and they have less to offer/cheat/aren’t as affectionate as me, etc. I’m tired of always being the bottom of the totem pole. I’m tired of being alone forever. Why can’t someone love me back for once? Suicide has always been on my mind but during times like this it’s exacerbated.

If anyone has any dating sites where the women prefer Black guys, let me know. Otherwise, I’m just done with life. Have any other of my brothers experienced something similar to this while dating? (At least in the US)
