Post Body

I'm back again after a few months with more and more bike issues, i'll try to keep it concise but I'm essentially checking on what I'm thinking an issue is is correct.

I bought my CBR in September of last year. Everything was absolutely dandy. I had a crash because I was an idiot in October. Some time between then and December an issue happened somewhere in the fuel and air delivery on my bike, and I have been annoyingly unable to fix it, even after replacing half of the bloody parts.

Essentially the bike seems to choke itself out if I hold high RPMs for too long. For instance, I was on a ride with a friend today and was going along at 6k rpm for about 2 or 3 minutes, and the bike started to putter out as it always does. I am typically able to downshift, slow down and get the bike going again before having to pull over, but it's very awkward and kinda dangerous to have to do with traffic behind me.

I have had the carb fully rebuilt, replaced the filters and the petcock attatched to the tank, replaced the wires multiple times, adjusted the valve clearances to be in tolerance as they were not originally, and multiple other things, however I cannot seem to solve the issue.

I have had the bike apart more than I've riden it in the past 10 months due to this issue and its becoming very irritating.

The last idea I have had is to adjust the fuel/air mixture. I'm aware it is extremely unlikely to fix my issue, however I cannot think of anything else to do. I cannot afford to send the bike off for some garage to look at it, but really cannot keep riding it as it is. I'm in a state where I cannot be bothered to take the bike apart again to do the fuel mixture screw as it takes probably half an hour to get my carb on or off, and thus I am here, checking to see if theres any other ideas that could potentially help resolve the issue I am having.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I'll try to answer any questions as well as possible, I just want this bloody thing fixed so I can actually use my bike to do things like ride to work without having to worry about if the bike will survive the ride or not.

Thanks.
