Fruit Sugars vs Milk Sugars
Post Body

Hey r/fitness,

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm gradually going into a bulk and considering drinking at least 500ml of whole milk everyday to get in some extra calories and other people have suggested mixing it with a banana or two.

I know refined sugar is the one to watch and I've cut that out of my diet but what's confusing me is how the body treats the sugar in milk compared to sugars found in fruit? Wouldn't two bananas and 500ml milk be quite a lot of sugar altogether?

Also, is there a better time to consume fruit and milk sugars in and around your workout?

Thanks in advance.
