Hi folks, hope you're all having a good day. I'm in Illinois, debating either renewing my annual fishing license or getting a lifetime license. But I read that the lifetime license still requires annual renewal. If so, what is the actual point of a lifetime license? I'm very confused as to why it would be called lifetime if it needs to be renewed every year like the normal residents license. Any information as to why the lifetime one exists and what the benefit to getting it is would be appreciated, thanks
