Limited Hero Battle appreciation thread
Post Body

I just wanted to ramble about how much I love Limited Hero Battles. I'm a Day-1 player, and I've gone through cycles of frustration and enthusiasm over FEH many, many times. I'm not sure I've enjoyed any type of battle IS has added as much as I enjoy playing Limited Hero Battles.

It definitely helps that I have a broad roster; I think I can make a team with one of every element for every FE game except TMS. But, as a long-time FE fan, I definitely have some games that I save for and build units for more than others, and for me that's where the fun lies. I don't have a ton of Fates units built, or Binding Blade units. Sometimes I have a random hero I started building and haven't done much with in a year or two. It's super fun for me to dig through my barracks, looking at units I built ages ago, and finally finding a use for them, even if it's just to tank one unit in one fight.

It's partially a problem of my own making, because I could do theme team fights on normal GHB/BHB/LHB battles rather than just using my go-to teams, but it's nice for the game to have a mode that requires that, yet doesn't punish you too much if you can't clear it. 40 Divine Codes and 1k feathers are a good reward, but I feel like they don't make you feel bad if you can't do it or didn't focus on a certain game.

Anyway, I'm just super jazzed about Limited Hero Battles and I hope we get them often (I'd love to have them once a month!). They definitely reinvigorate my joy in the game!
