Religion and women
Post Body

So, I (23F) have decided to take a religions course and am increasingly getting upset over the fact that no religion respects women. We are seen as the lower half of our species. Now i am not saying that all religions disrespect women but why is there not a single religion out there that holds women in high respects? Where women are not tied to brith giving, purity, and being chaste? I understand that the time periods were different but still what about in todays world? Are there any religions that are built on the belief that women are the creators?

Comments

Some neopagan religions, like dianic Wicca. Satanism generally holds women equal to men, especially left wing, atheistic sects.
