I came across this video from 6 years ago with Emma Watson and her stance to support feminism. This has accrued over 93k dislikes with 30 k likes. I really want to check if she said anything that is shaming anyone. In the very interview she says "If I say anything about feminism, people take it as a personal attack to a man rather than the patriarchy itself". The comments and likes are a proof to that.
These days I am recommended a lot of hate against women videos on youtube. Typical meme videos where equality is taken out of context and mocked at. And I used to think this hatred is only on the internet which was true a few years ago but now I see it in people I interact with. The language which people use is that of victim and hate towards anyone who do not agree to the views esp in matters of feminism and equality. What is happening to this world? As a single woman, I am actually scared. What are your thoughts?
