I have a nephew whom I opened a 529 account for his first Christmas. My SIL(catty, underhand bitch, but thats a whole other post) and Brother don't bring him over for me and my mother to watch but take him to aee hwr parents all the time. He is a year old and we have never had him for even an hour, yet he has spent the night with her parents multiple times. Im thinking about changing the 529 to another kid since if I dont get to have an meaningful time with my nephew nor does my mother then why ahould I do anything in the way of helping him when he is older. I realize this isnt my nephews fault but if I never get to know him then I dont feel any connection to him. What do you think?
