[FO4] Problem with NPC replacer mods

So, I have absolutely no idea why this happens, and I've been having this issue for (going on) three years now.
For some reason, NPC replacer mods, more specifically ones that replace Companions, don't want to work. I've uninstalled everything except them and their requirements, I've tried loading their requirements in different orders. But nothing seems to work. Every other type of mod works, even Varied Gunners and Varied Raiders (which does basically the same thing) works just fine.
Any advice?
