The new category of unexplained leniency seems to favor non-feminists. In the past month, feminists received zero unexplained leniencies commpared to seven for non-feminists. Unexplained leniences accounted for 11% of moderated comments.

* Definitions

"Feminist" users are those that spend most of their posting sympathetic to feminists/women, disagreeing with MRAs/FRD. Non-feminists are all others.
"Time-gated" comments are those granted leniency because the user had a slew of comments removed at or around the same time.
"Unexplained" removals are those that are not sandboxed or time-gated.
Data comes from Kareem_Jordan's deletion thread (17 Oct - 16 Nov). As far as I know this is the only mod granting these leniencies.

Important caveat that we don't know if each group is equally deserving of "unexplained leniency." Related, despite my expectations I was surprised by the rule-breaking and hostility toward feminists in these removals.

This exmaination tallies mod decisions but doesn't check their "fairness." The "Sandbox" category especially deserves scrutiny if we question that. This category is supposed to remove rule-abiding comments that are not productive, but also seems to grant leniency to some rule-breaking comments too.
