PS4 on PS5?

So my friend has the PS5 standard edition and I have the PS4 edition. We just wanna play pro clubs but are having no success because of no cross play. If I added fifa 22 to my friends library on PS4 will he then be able to download the PS4 version on his PS5. Or is there any other solution?
