Huge fan of the thread regarding the Halloween Banner, I'm really happy that the sub continues to be very concerned over rates and such.

Anyway, there was something else not heavily addressed in that thread that I think needs to be given attention. It's not as important, but I think it's a deserving talking point.

Why the hell are the "not new" bonus units given nerfed bonus %?

If you think about it and directly compare it to the FFXV MK, where misc other 5 Star bases were only 50%, it's completely understandable because they were essentially just gifts and weren't even part of the banner. Look at Libertus, he's also 50% because he is part of the current banner as the featured 3 Star Unit. He didn't get a reduced bonus rate despite being around for a long time.

Then look at our current Halloween lineup. Lid has only 30%, Nichol/Jake/Fina have 50%, Rain/Lasswell/Sakura have 75%/150%, and only our new guests have the usual 100%/200%.

Why? Well it's pretty obvious why, they want the money. But let me explain to you what you already know on why it's unfair just for the post's sake.

Picky Percentage Prejudice against the already existing seasonals is wrong, especially because they are part of the banner, and especially in regards to Lid, Jake, Fina, and Nichol. You could be generous and ignore the returning banner where Rain, Lasswell, and Sakura are on and consider it a gift that their small "off-banner" presence is just a bonus if you miss out on pulling the new additions in their separate banner. (but you shouldn't because they are clearly in another banner for people to pull on and people are already going to have a hell of a time trying for a second copy to the one they already have. In fact it's pretty insulting for you to devalue Rain/Lasswell/Sakura like that while still pushing people to roll for 7 Star.)

In regards to the non-Rainbows though, it's just plain disrespectful. You broke the standard you set so blatantly Gumi. They are in the featured banner, you had no problem giving Libertus the standard 50%, you can't just go and nerf what is literally being featured just because you want to shove the two new units in our face.

How unfair is that for newer players who haven't even had the privilege of being part of any previous Halloween events? Why all of a sudden is it ok to make them even worse off than me? Anyone who had started playing since December 2017 won't have anything to work with at all and when they pull, they have to work with less just because Gumi felt like it. I could go on but here's a TL:DR.

TLDR: I get it, you made the UOC ticket 1k. I appreciate that. We have ad wheel rewards that give at least 5x Energy Potions and that will help us grind more currency for essentially free. That's cool, but this isn't some balancing act where you give and take.

If you want me to pull for newer units, you should design them to be attractive and just leave it at that. Don't go twisting people's arms in places outside of that just because you're not confident that the characters you made aren't good enough by themselves to get me to want them.
