My horse is going to be on stall rest for at least the next two weeks (good chance it’ll be longer), and I want to try to make sure he doesn’t get too bored or depressed.
I’ve been visiting him every day, I sit with him, and groom him while I’m there.
What else can I do for him to keep him as happy as he possibly can be given the situation?
The good news is that at least for now he’s still able to have access to the outdoor run part of his stall so he can still go out and socialize with his neighbors.
