BW Iseria is strong against Riolet, but does not counter him. KLURI counters Riolet. She makes him impotent and removes a good chunk of his power, all without giving him any focus and making him easy to one-shot even on an unlucky MLDB miss (def down).

BW Iseria, at best, has an 85% chance to hit Riolet - that's assuming Riolet has MLDB (he will), and BW Iseria has Oath Key (she probably will). If he is paired with Fat Cat (or some other possible future mechanic that increases evasion), she only has a 70% chance to hit him. This is not reliable. That 15% will burn you, as we all know with innate resist and other forms of RNG.

Do not pull her thinking she is a strong counter to Riolet. She does well against him by brute-forcing his mechanics, but other characters that are much easier to obtain actually counter him. She is useful against someone like Riolet when he's in a party that counters Kluri or another solid counter to his style, where her dispel AoE has more use than just against Riolet.

I am not saying that she won't do well against Riolet. I'm just saying that she doesn't COUNTER him like a few other characters do.

Some other things I think a lot of people aren't considering:

• Depending on the S2 scaling and whether Drink synergizes with her kit, an ATK% main neck/ring/possibly boots goes very well on her, while keeping crit as low as possible for units like ML Ken.

  • Having a character that can make use of what is otherwise considered bad RNG (atk% main neck with good substats) improves overall personal progress. Nobody else would be using that neck, and it would likely get trashed if not for having her.

• In my opinion, the hit chance on her S2 should be considered 'supplementary', not the key identity of her kit. She goes in and dispels/anti-buffs the enemy team gimps their attack while softening them for another hit from someone like Judge Kise or another cleaver. Something like fast BW Iseria C Dom Judge Kise I can see being very strong. BW Iseria strips immunity and debuffs, pushes C Dom who nukes a high-HP target like Ruele or Krau, and pushes Judge Kise (or some other cleaver), who then cleans up the enemy team.

  • Her S2 just 'allows' her to do this functionality against comps that run MLDB, like Kayron, Violet, or yes, even Riolet (though again it won't be consistent). Hell even Arby if you have someone to follow-up with and she doesn't one-shot him (built as a fast dispel with high EFF%).
