Post Body

I got what I think is an early 70s 350 sbc and it has a factory valve train with a mild cam in it (no idea what the specs are but it sounds like it has decent lift) it floats at about 4750 in high gear so I wanted to replace the springs but I’m not sure if the factory press in studs can handle a higher spring pressure. I have access to the machinery to tap em but just wondering if it’s worth the money to get arp studs.
