Hello, my name is Blank thank you guys for hearing me out. Iā€™ll like to give you guys a short overview of me and my time at the company. Iā€™ve been a part of the workforce for 7 years where I've held over 5 positions and never been fired or given a bad performance rank. When I first started working at Hudson I was warned by multiple employees who were African American like me. Of the malicious, bullying, and racism that took place at Blank . By the likes of Blank and Blank, I didnā€™t assume I would be a victim. Then December came and since then Iā€™ve been referred to with derogatory terms such as ā€œboyā€ ā€œ you peopleā€ and ā€œ your kind.ā€. I told Blank how Iā€™m not comfortable being put in group chats with other employees having my phone number I feel unsafe.

She continued to do it some employees contacted me as well. Employees contacted me during my off time trying to switch shifts or just to ask questions about the company. I have also received multiple threats to my phone I have no way of knowing if these are from employees. But the person had my full name and this didnā€™t start until after my employment at BLANK.

So to be on the safe side I wanted my information to no longer be shared. Blank did not honor my request I was still continuously put in group chats for months. When I first got the job I told Blank how I couldnā€™t work Sundays because I need them off due to family issues. She told me no she needs me 5 days and she canā€™t make good on my request. Which I respected but she allowed other employees of other backgrounds to have these accommodations.

She also let Non-African American employees choose their stores and what days they get off. I started to notice all the African American employees got longer store hours and busier stores. I also had this conversation multiple times with other African American employees. I told Riz the head manager he said he could see what he could do. In which in return was nothing. So I called off that Sunday which was November 27th. I was told I shouldnā€™t do that.

After that my schedule was switched to the latest store on the concourse. January 5th Blank and Blank were walking by. I overheard Blank talking to herself saying she doesnā€™t like you people our kind are lazy. I also tried to take over a shift for another black male employee because he wanted to go home early she didnā€™t allow me to. The manager Xcel said Colleen doesnā€™t too much care for us meaning the color of our skin. She does it constantly for other employees of different gender and nationality. My schedule was constantly changed sometimes I was booked in 2 places at once. And when the schedule is changed only so many places you can clock in and you have to take the train to the next terminal which will make you late. I asked Blank if could we do better with my schedule because it confuses me. The next thing I know.

On January 10th I had a meeting with Blank about my attendance. Blank was also in there I reiterated about the schedules constantly being changed having to do with tardiness. They both told me it was not an excuse and that I have enough time to get there. I was also told if I get one more point Iā€™ll be fired. Even though I know of multiple employees of different gender and background who has way more points than me who was not fired. Also heard Blank joking and laughing with another employee who was a female and said they wouldnā€™t stop coming in late. Saturday I asked Blank for a shirt she told me to get.

Blank told me yesterday January 14 to get a uniform shirt from the office the next morning. Heā€™d have it waiting for me he also asked me for my size. He told me to go to the office to get the shirt heā€™ll have it out for me which I did on January 15th. I informed him that I told Blank in a message on January 14th that I needed a shirt she told me sheā€™d have it Monday. I had one of the ladies in the back who gives us our checks let me in she looked for the shirt after I told her what Blank told me. She couldnā€™t find it so she gave him his number. I answered he said hello itā€™s Blank Iā€™m off today. I still proceeded to tell him you remember you told me to come by to get a shirt. He told me to put the phone on speaker so the lady in the back can hear me which she did.

He talked to her he told her he would be calling. She answered she looked for a shirt but couldnā€™t find it. He told me what store I was working in today. I told him 1687 he told me I better not be clocked in which I told him I was because I was here reporting to work. And doing what you told me to do and if I did wait to clock in at terminal 2 I would be late. He told me donā€™t do that anymore you use up your 7 minutes grace period after that your late. He told me to report to my store and heā€™ll see if can he get blank to get me a shirt today or Monday. But then asked me repeatedly what was wrong with my shirt. I told him it has holes in it Iā€™ve been here since November with 1 shirt he told me I havenā€™t I told him yes I have. I wear the same shirt 5 days a week and wash it sometimes 3 times it has worn the material down.

Then he said he doesnā€™t care to wash and report to work in the shirt Monday if he canā€™t get me a shirt. And he has a shirt thatā€™s been lasting him. for 2 years itā€™s no way possible yours isnā€™t. Then the call dropped he called back which I couldnā€™t hear then I called him back he said he was still talking donā€™t hang up again and then he reiterated that heā€™d be talking to blank to see if I can get another shirt. My schedule was also changed Sunday to work in store 1687 instead of the kiosk. I believe this was done in retaliation it is a much harder workload in store 1687. I also took off the schedule Iā€™m on a 5-day mandatory work week that was changed into a 4-day work week I was off Monday Saturday 21st Friday which was done in retaliation. I also received a write-up When I spoke up about this to HR which I thought was a haven HR. I was purposely set up to be fired by

Blank and blank . This made the work environment hostile and took a mental toll on me that caused me to resign for my mental health and set me back financially in a big way.Ā Then to come to pick up my check a week later to be accused of being a liar and a thief just made it so much worst. The effects this job put on will forever affect me mentally.
