Welcome everybody to the fourth and last SotW of November. We're sticking with the 'Relapse' theme from last week, as 'My Darling' has been selected by /u/Smashbros34 as this week's featured track.

After an hiatus of a couple of years, Em released 'Relapse' in 2009. With still a bunch of songs left that Eminem wanted to release, the idea for 'Relapse: Refill' came up. 'My Darling', at release, was only downloadable by visiting the eminem.com website with the 'Relapse' CD in one’s computer (hence why some count it as a deluxe edition of 'Relapse'). The song was later included on 'Relapse: Refill'.

On the song, Eminem sings to Slim Shady, his deranged, angry, drug-addicted alter-ego who was presumed dead after 'Encore'. Slim Shady actually just wants to be left alone, but Eminem won’t let him be, he wants him to come back out and play. A lot of people think the deep voice is the Devil or the Monster, but from the similar intro to the 'Slim Shady EP' it’s clear it’s Em talking.
