Look, frontier has stated that the upkeep costs and forced decommission are because of technical reasons. They simply want to avoid fc's being spammed all over the galaxy and litter every single system map to death.
Just assume for a minute that they have a valid reason for why fleet carriers can't just live forever. Just assume that the programmers and developers have been working on this for YEARS and tried to solve it in every way possible.
How do you then suggest, fdev should cap the total number of active Fc's while keeping them available for anyone? Like, literally just assume that it is a technical requirement of the game, and work out a good solution for it.
Can you come up with anything good?
