After clicking play in the launch screen nothing happens. Anybody know how to fix this?

Just as the title says. Since Monday when I went to play the game, after clicking on the play button in the launch screen the game goes unresponsive and won't do anything. Is there anyone who knows anything about this and how I can fix it on my end if need be?
Other than that this is my first real post here. Great game and great community. Thanks for any help I receive from this.
