"It's so good to be back in my home" said frm. Senator and native of Falher JaacTreee at the Falher Rec. centre as he was helping set up for a local hockey tournament. In a speech, he gave earlier he remarked the following.
"Mon Dieu, ça fait malheureusement un moment que je ne suis pas retourné à Falher, heureusement, ma grand-mère avait du miel dans son garde-manger que je pouvais ramener à la maison. C'est la meilleure chose à propos de la famille, et la meilleure chose à propos de mon Falher. "
"Now y'all know what I am here for today. I'm here to convince you all to do the hardest thing for folks in Northern Alberta to do. And that's join me in joining with the government. Put one of your own right next to the Prime Minister's ear. Vote for me, and y'all will have Falher at the decision table."
He later spent the late afternoon and evening in Grande Prairie, with his first stop at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie. "Campaigning in Northern Alberta means long distances, but I wanted to pay for the single-engine flight myself just to make it to y'all during this election time" remarked the frm. Senator.
"As a man who grew up in this neck of the woods, I know what community means up here. My goal over the next three days is to convince y'all to trust me as your influence in the government" spoke JaacTree in front of local art.
"Throwing peanuts from the nosebleeds can be fun, but I want to see things get done, that's my priority. A vote for me is a vote to have this city at the discussion table. I come from here, I understand y'alls values and y'alls economy, and I will make sure that those things are heard right at the top."
JaacTree spent the evening at the Wild Rose Country Restaurant with voters, answering questions from voters from all around the Grande Prairie regional area.
