My partner and I have been together for almost 3 months. We fell for each other quickly. We’re 8 years apart and he has more ENM experience than I which I found comforting. He told me he loved me 1 month in and, as someone who’s never been in love before, I felt like I was floating. He was always kind and courteous with a bit of sarcasm which I love. Since he’s told me he loves me, he’s started to change. I’m getting no emotionally intimacy and more sarcastic borderline mean humor. When I bring it up to him, he says he’s always been this way and I shouldn’t be surprised. He’s always been sarcastic but this is different. He doesn’t tell me he loves me, he’s stopped being physically affectionate, and he doesn’t really say any kind words about me. Recently, I invited him to go to a museum exhibit with me. He let me know he was already going with friends. When I told him I was also going, he just said, “I guess I’ll see you there.” And I never saw him. He has a long term girlfriend that he lives with so maybe he reserves all affection for her, but I’m starting to feel like he’s stuck with me rather than loves me. Any advice?
