I did a session of EMDR a year and a half ago. I found much relief and healing from my trauma. It undoubtedly has been life changing.
I was diagnosed with ADHD years ago. When I walked out of therapy, my mind was quiet. I attributed it to the emotional intensity of the session. But, this quietness or single thought process has persisted.
I have experienced migraine headaches that had a number of triggers. One of my big triggers has been aspartame. I have drank diet pop a few times without a migraine the next day. So, I have had a diet pop a couple times a week for the past couple months. There have been no migraines.
Has anyone else experienced any changes like these after doing EMDR therapy?
