Hi all, I am the sole proprietor of a small essential worker business, I applied and was approved for a EIDL but then I received an email saying We need to confirm your business please send us documents - which I did, I sent my tax returns but it took me longer than 24 hours, it took me two days. Then I got a reply email saying I was declined because I didn't reply within 24 hours.
The email didn't say I would be declined if I didn't reply within 24 hours. But nevermind.
The email said I would be given instructions how to re-apply since I do have the qualifying documents. But no such email explaining how to reapply has arrived.
Now, I live in fire country and the smoke caused me to evacuate my home so I got behind on my paperwork for a few days. I know, excuses excuses right. Massive wildfires with toxic smoke clouds visible from space and mandatory evacuation orders getting closer to where I live - I know, it's not much of an excuse but, well, actually, it is the reason I didn't respond within the 24 hours. Oh and the fact that the email didn't say "If you don't reply you'll be denied." But again, nevermind, fire, no big deal.
ANYWAY, does anyone know how I reapply?
tl;dr EIDL approved - then denied bc didn't submit requested paperwork within 24 hours of receiving email, how do I re-apply?
