Post Body

Hello πŸ‘‹,

I was laidoff twice in the last year once in June and the other one on September. I applied for EI on 12th October and have been waiting for a decision since! What should I do? I have called them numerous times and now I don’t have enough to hold onto for the upcoming month. The situation is very bad.

The company(Sept one) clarified over the call to the EI agent that I was laid off and the info was noted. However the first company had messed up in the ER and there were multiple situations of back and forth. On Jan 12th the update ER was uploaded on the EI site and I notified the same to the customer care.

They haven’t moved an inch and always say that an agent will get back to you. Which has never happened in the last 3months. Need some help to resolve this.

Meanwhile a friend who was laid off in November start receiving his EI in a week.

Any and all help is appreciated πŸ™πŸ»
