Is anyone else in the "Post Color Pie" phase of deckbuilding?

Post Body

Good morning everyone. I have been playing commander for about 10 years now, and I have found myself getting very bored with the color pie and color identities. Many of my decks are typical color combo themes, like Golgari sacrifice or Mardu combat. Honestly...seeing new spoilers only makes me more bored. I know when a red/blue legend comes out exactly what the deck will do, you know?

I started building decks that are bends in the color combos. My Noyan Dar, a blue/white deck, cares about land creatures, for example. I want more creatures that really stretch what the color pair can do, and what cards will be seen in those decks. Does anyone else feel this same way? I'd love to hear about your "out of color" EDH decks!

Agreed. I love the wackiness of those two sets. I want to be more creative with the colors and find those bulk rares and mythics that fit the game plan
