Hello all. I was hoping that someone with a touch of experience dealing with device/machine certification could answer a few quick questions:
Are there open/free summaries of specifications for CSA, UL and/or RU standards? I know the full specs cost money, but are there condensed versions open to the public?
Documentation for cable and connector approvals seems to become more scarce as transmitted power decreases. Is there a cutoff voltage/power where marks are no longer necessary for cables? These are cables strung through an IP54 environment, mostly inside of trays.
Are there any resources available to help with selecting which standards books to buy? I'm just trying to validate a single small machine, and if I buy everything that sounds relevant, CSA would make over $20k off of us.
