Can you get high on Sassafras , sarsaparilla, safrole oil without any chemistry/ very little chemistry like lemon tek with shrooms etc?

I want to know if i get find a sassafras tree would i be able to extract the safrole and consume it in order to get a mild high? Maybe i could do some very light chemistry and get something out of it that way. Seems very plausible but theres literally no information on such things on the internet. Seems like google is really suppressing search results for such topics. Any information or experiences are greatly appreciated.
