I’ve been doing research for OTC supplements, nootropics or herbs that might have psychotropic effects in favor of improving the mental state and the following ones are which really stand out regarding significant effects in my opinion. What‘s missing in your opinion?
Psychotropic = relating to or denoting drugs that affect a person's mental state.
- Beta Alanine
- Creatine
- Gotu Kola
- Lemon Balm
- Dopa Mucuna
- NAC
- Wild Lettuce
- Nicotine (Snus, Tobacco, Liquids)
- L-Theanine
- Inositol
- L-Methylfolate
- Caffeine
- Omega 3
- Magnolia Bark
- Rhodiola Rosea
- SAM-e
- Bacopa
- Vitamin C (Megadosing)
- Kava Kava
- Kratom
- Mulungu
What‘s not OTC where I live but in a few countries:
- Racetams
- Modafinil
- Bromantane
- Memantine
- Sulbutiamine
- Guanfacine
- Etifoxine
- Sarcosine
- Phenibut (rather a strong GABAergic gabapentinoid which is OTC where I live but I rate it as risky and rather not to count with)
- and sure nowadays: THC, HHC, D8, D9 and all these cannabinoids
What else is significantly psychotropic/nootropic in your opinion and OTC/legally available without issue? What's missing?
BTW: Sure, this is NO TOTAL STACK and NO RECOMMENDATION. Which of these to take, to include to a stack, which ones are dangerous and which ones less is another question but surely NOT ALL. And things like caffeine, nicotine and kratom can end up in a heavy addiciton so be careful taking these and use sparingly and with caution.
