So the common actors are: my wife (current age), my daughters (current age), my mother (current age), and singer Amy Lee that always changes to the girl who just cut my hair last weekend in the middle of the dream.

The events change but always started at sunset, it’s either some public event outdoors that has a firework show in a park or camping area. Or a small gathering in a park or camping area without fireworks but there is a fire pit or bonfire.

The actions start off with me unpacking our Jeep, taking the kids out and walking towards the event area. My kids will split off and go play with other kids, normally (in life) I would be close to my kids when they are playing, but I felt completely comfortable and safe with them playing, my wife is talking with some people that I don’t recognize. I am by myself and will always find a wood shed/hut that is serving drinks.

I’ll either have a beer or coffee in my hand and that is when I’ll bump into Amy Lee. The interaction details are never clear to me but when I attempt to recall the details I feel warm and happy. It fast forwards to me sitting on a blanket on the ground and looking up to the clear night sky waiting for the fireworks or the fire pit to be lit. I feel warmth on my right side as Amy sits next to me, she has a buffalo plaid blanket that she drapes over us, she cuddles me, and I feel perfectly happy. I can recall the scent of semi sweetness and her shampoo.

Suddenly I hear my wife make a snarky remark like “oh he’s up there under a blanket with Amy.” I turn my head to the left to look back at my wife and I see her glaring at with my daughters standing next to her just looking at me. My mom will appear on my right side next to Amy, she is smiling at us as she untucks me from the blanket. Amy sweetly tells her “thank you.” And when Amy turns her head back to me she no longer looks like Amy Lee but the girl I just went to get my haircut this past weekend. This is when I wake up.

Interesting part is that I’ve been having this dream for the past month, about two to three times a week.
