Please help me understand - the week one meditation & the concept of space
Post Body

Hi there

I read Dr Joe's book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, I loved the theory and was so really excited to get started with the meditations but I am really struggling to the point of feeling like giving up, maybe I just dont have it in me?

I have been trying to do the Week one meditation "Body Part induction" but its really frustrating to me.

When he says for example "Now can you feel the space that your cheeks occupy in space... and the density of space that your cheeks take up ...in space" I really can't feel it because I dont know what I'm trying to feel

I really struggle to understand what I am required to do, does he sometimes mean space as in outer space (nothingness) and sometimes the space (volume) of the room I am in?

Please can someone help I really want to keep going with this but I am at the breaking point with it

TLDR : Please Please Please explain and help me visualize space in the context of the Week one body Part induction.
