So this guy comes in about once a week, grabs a duffel bag off the skyshelf, empty’s the paper in it into our garbage rotainers, fills it and walks out. A couple weeks ago our truck driver just happened to walk in to shop for himself while he was leaving and attempted to stop him and the guy threw his arm back like he was gonna punch him. So today I go to walk into the building and he’s literally right infront of my but I’m clueless to it since I didn’t see the duffel bag and I was just mentally preparing myself for my shift. I clock in and go to check out the new rotainers on the floor and I see him with a duffel bag and paper in a nearby rotainer. I yell out to my manager LOUD to call the police so he hears me and he stormed out saying he’s gonna show me something in a weird way like he was gonna show me he’s not stealing but obviously it was threat. My manager followed him around the building and he said I don’t gotta problem with you I gotta problem with ya boy and some other yelling I wasn’t there for. Nothing physical happened but shit had me shook for at least an hour we called the police but damn I don’t think it was worth it lol. I’m stoked I got the guy, dude walks in singing to himself like he’s doing nothing wrong but the anxiety I dealt with after idk. Plus who knows if he’ll come back and try to hurt me. Most likely just talk from someone stealing from a dollar store but you never know.
